Cass Street Bar and Grill.

I discovered this place through Yelp and was very pleased with it-- as was the friend I took with me!

Price: The food was about the price of your usual burger joint ($5-$6 for a burger or sandwich). I had their chicken burger and their potato wedges, and both were amazingly good for dive bar food! I highly recommend it. The drinks also weren't bad at all. My friend and I bought two pitchers of Hefeweizen and spent $20.

Drinks: All I had was the Hefeweizen, and it was quite delicious... came with lemons, too. The selection of beer was so-so, but what they do have is pretty good.

Crowd: Many of the people here were very friendly, the staff included. My friend and I struck several conversations with strangers and the staff. However, it was very male-dominated, so if you're looking for a place with more women, this may not be a good choice. Some people also got really obnoxiously drunk, but this can happen almost any place where alcohol is involved.

Atmosphere: Your typical dive bar, but cleaner and friendlier.

Entertainment: There are a few pool tables as well as shuffleboard (I think that's what it was?). There was also this electronic jukebox, but it gets so bogged down with songs that I didn't get to hear the two songs I requested before I left!

I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a chill bar and want to meet some new people!
