Seville Quarter began in August 1967 as the dream of Bob Snow, a Minnesota native, who was a virtuoso trumpet player, Dixieland band leader, naturally gifted designer, builder and energetic entrepreneur. Snow fell in love with Pensacola while in Navy Flight training. Starting with $1,100, his horn and his heart, he built Rosie O'Grady's, then Lili Marlene's and over several years the other beautiful distinctive rooms which became Pensacola's premier entertainment and dining complex, Seville Quarter.
Willmer Mitchell, the present owner, was Bob Snow's lawyer before Rosie's opened in 1967. He participated with Snow in Seville Quarter over the years and now, with his wife and seven children, is dedicated to carrying on the tradition Bob Snow started.
